My first two doses of the cane administered by my primary school headmistress in the fourth and fifth grades. If you recieved the cane in primary school you had to spend half of lunch standing and facing the wall outside the main office block. In my comprehensive school back in 1973/4 it was possible for boys to get cane or slipper from the lower school head which was a lady almost at retirement age. Bozo, I’ve been ill for a few days and missed this thread when first posted so I hope I’m not too late to add a contribution. I hope this qualifies in what you seek.
I along with 15 other grade 3 boys (1961)copped a hiding off Mother Superior for telling dirty jokes in the playground. We received 10 strokes with the bamboo handle of a feather duster on each hand and we were given 6 strokes for an other violation on the backs of our legs as well.

We used to wear shorts as part of our uniform in those days. No long trousers when I went to Catholic school. This particular incident happened mid year in winter. The sting from the feather duster stung for hours after on our legs.
One boy had half a dozen red marks on the back of his thighs and calves for the entire day. I’m sure his mother would have seen them when he got home after school that day.
We were regularly disciplined in this fashion and I have often wondered if this treatment had a lot to do with my Carpal Tunnel I have in both hands. I have undergone one operation a few years ago and am hesitant to undergo another. It is my opinion that the nerves in my hand were damaged by the beatings I received at the hands of the Penguins. My doctor even mentioned it on one occasion that CP on the hands was not ruled out as a contributing factor.
Looking back on the shorts as part of the uniform, I wonder if this was a ploy on their part to have access to bare skin for CP purposes? At the State Primary School in our surburb, kids didn’t have to wear a uniform and they did wear long trousers in winter. I found this out when I transfered in grade 5 to a Public School, although they used CP there too unfortunately. Not as bad as the Catholic School though.

Bozo, thanks for the kind words. I have no intention of creating a law suit because I started school in 1958 so given that it happened so long ago, most of these nuns are dead, or if not, they should be.
On the subject of girls, females here are more open to talk about school CP than they are elsewhere. I have had conversations with some female friends who brought up the subject, the first being I played in a bend in my early teens with who told me about CP at her Private school.
A friend of mine has a sister who told me about her teachers. We all went to the same schools, Phil and I were in the same class, his sister was 5 years behind us.
She mentioned a few names of teachers that I actually had in secondary, and mentioned the Headmistress who used to strap girls for wearing their dresses too short. I told her I never had that particular problem! She told me the Headmistress could really lay the strap on so I gathered she must have had some first hand experience in that department.
One thing I did notice at Catholic Primary and State Primary was certain teachers enjoyed belittling girls from lower income families. These girls were usually belted far more than other girls all because of their circumstances.

I passed 12th class in 2010. After a long time of my marriage I took admission in class 9 in a girls’ school along with my two daughters. Elder was studied in my class and younger was in class 5. Corporal punishment was common in that time. Teachers even class monitor or head girl frequently punished us. Our head sir took names of offended students for detention. He called students in his chamber and then pushed our heads under his desk and then caned on our buttocks. After that he made us sitting murga either outside his chamber or on the middle of the ground. It was a common punishment in North India. Just I have listen one news that one male headmaster made murga girl students in Punjab. It was minimum one hour punishment. They misused their power. They preferred some students but for others punishment was common in any occasion. Between two classes when we need to go toilet, out toilet time was 2 mins and it depends upon the decision of head girls. They allowed some girls for 10 mins but for others 2 mins was maximum and after that time when girls came to class, head girl caned them and made them kneel down outside the class room. We had one toilet for students and for male teachers and non teaching staffs there was no toilet. Male teachers and staffs used a drain just behind the school building and when girls’ toilet was congested many girls went to the drain and did urinate besides male persons. Always I went to the drain and did urinate besides our sirs because there was no other option. I was not in good book of head girls and when I was late they punished me. We got punishment not from our head girls but some time by the order of teachers and our head girls we got it from head girl of junior classes. Head girls handed over us to the head girls of junior classes and they caned and twisted our ears. In my case I always sent to the head girl of my younger daughter’s class and she caned me and twisted my ears. It was a place no body could watch them. They brought the girl to that place and removed her all clothes and made her sits up with holding ears without wearing clothes. It was very cruel punishment. I and my elder daughter got such punishment but we did not disclose it for our shame. These were not a good education system. But the question is why we accepted such situation. First one , there was a stipend for girls and for schedule case girls it was enough. Second after passing class 12 girls got government jobs. Third we somehow wanted to avoid whole day staying in laws house. I have another experience about private tuition and next day I shall write that.

As I have stated previously in other threads I was caned on five occasions during my time at private school in the early 80s. The cane was the accepted form of punishment at the establishment I was educated at. Each caning i recieved was administered by a male member of staff and each caning was given bending over either a chair or desk and given over the skirt. There was though on each occasion a female teacher present to witness the awarded punishment.
I never had a problem having to be caned by a male member of staff and each of the punishments I recieved were fully deserved and I have no regrets.

lisa: It’s been more than thirty years but how would you have felt if no woman was present there as a witness? How would you have felt if you were receiving something other than a skirt? How would you feel if that was occurring to someone in your family now?
In the states paddling is still done without much parental gender concerns or where from what I can gather even today sometimes corridor and vacant classrooms rather than in an office where it can often be heard with the side benefit of deterrence. Miniskirts are back in style (did they over go out) but that’s too bad if it’s your turn to be paddled. Thanks for sharing so genuinely and generously.

Although I was never caned by a member of the opposite sex, I was slippered on many occasions by our school matron at prep school. She was the first person to give me corporal punishment and the first person to send me to the headmaster for the cane.
Generally she dealt with the naughty boys in her sitting room after she had completed her evening chores and done the lights out. While this was going on, the boys had to wait outside in a dark and cold corridor. On completing her rounds she would invite the first boy into her sitting room, instruct then to remove their dressing gown and touch their toes. The slippering was swift and hard(compared with the teachers) before dismissing you to your dormitory in tears. The number of strokes were between 4 and 6.
On the occasion she sent me to the Headmaster she insisted on examining the marks on my bottom and told me I had got off lightly with three strokes – I did not agree but did not argue.

I attended a grammar school between 1963 & 1968. The first of my 6 canings was at the hand of the Senior Mistress. I was cheeky to a lady teacher and told to stand outside the door until the end of the lesson. Unfortunately the Senior Mistress came by and asked why I was there.
She sent me to wait outside her office. At the end of the lesson she appearred with the lady teacher I had cheeked. I was given a lecture before being advised that I was to be caned.
I was told to drop my trousers and remove my blazer. I was then told to bend over the back of a chair. She then administered 6 hard strokes with a crook handled cane. At the end I had to apologise to the lady teacher before being told to dress and was dismissed.
It was extremely painful and very embarrassing. But it sure worked. I was never cheeky to a teacher again.
Of my 5 other canings, 3 were at the hands of lady teachers. I was given the choice of allowing them to cane me or a visit to the headmaster. Having visited him once in the second year I always chose the class teacher.
Did I feel that it was wrong for a ady to cane me? Of course not. I had done wrong and had to accept the punishment. The fact that it was a lady was irrelevant.

Thank you for the welcome. I will try to answer your questions but it was a long time ago.
I think my Grammar School was unusual because many of my friends who went to Secondary School only ever got caned by the Headmaster. Also, in most of the other local schools girls were not caned. However it was made clear on our first assembly that all teachers could use the cane and that girls could be caned as well. In some ways the girls were treated harshly because male teachers could not cane them and they were always sent to the senior mistress. The Headmaster was fairly new in post and my understanding was that his predecessor did not allow all teachers to use the cane.
Regarding the teachers offering me the option, there was not really a choice. I was terrified of a caning from the head because it was always 6 strokes and very hard. I figured that even if I got 6 strokes it might be less of an ordeal with the lady teachers. I am not sure that was true but that was how my mind worked it out. Also I hoped that I might get less than 6 strokes which did happen sometimes.
I do not think I was a favourite with the lady teachers. The same option was offered to both girls and boys by numerous teachers so I think it was common practice. The option was normally for less serious offences because serious offences were always supposed to be referred to the head, deputy or senior mistress.
I was 12 when I first got caned at Grammar School and it was in my first term there. I knew some pupils who had been caned but none by the senior mistress so I had no knowledge of her caning method.I think I was just unlucky to have been caught outside class on one of her patrols. She obviously wished to ensure that I was made an example of. Wrong place, wrong time for me I am afraid.
When I was sent to wait outside her office I was fairly sure that I was to be caned. I was nervous and very fearful. As I did not know her routine it was merely the thought of my first caning which I knew would be on my bottom and may be up to 6 strokes. I was also frightened that other pupils would see me outside her office so I was hoping she would return before the end of the lesson. Sadly for me she did not and I attracted the attention of some pupils at the end of the lesson.
She did not explain her caning method until I was ordered to remove my blazer and drop my trousers. This did shock me, initially because of the loss of protection that trousers offered. I realise now that this was silly but that was how I thought at the time. Then I was embarrassed because there were 2 ladies in the room watching me. The thought of a bare bottom caning had not crossed my mind initially. It did for a short time when the senior mistress lifted my shirt tail out of the way because it crossed my mind that she might be going to pull my underpants down. I was relieved when she stood back and I felt the cane touch my bottom. I am not sure if she was indulging in a little psychological trickery to enhance the punishment as you put it. What I do know was it was very frightening at the time, mainly because of the fact it was my first 6 strokes on the bottom.
The senior mstress was unusual in caning over underpants. As I progressed through the school I did find out that it was her normal method and she caned all boys that way. I suspect that it was because she insisted that girls only had one layer of protection and folowed this practice with the boys as well.
Looking back at the incident, I was unlucky to get caned because I suspect that I might have got away with a detention from the class teacher if I had not been caught outside the door. But, it could have been that I was taken to the headmaster at the end of the lesson. What I do know is that I fully deserved a caning for my cheek!!!

Seriously, I was minded to question why on earth you didn’t protest vigorously at the instruction to drop your trousers. But then I cast my mind back. You appear to be about nine years younger than me, but doubtless that nine years hadn’t made much difference to the attitude to a teacher’s authority.
As it happens I was at Junior School until I was almost 12, due to birthday/11+ regulations. The great majority of teachers there were very formidable ladies who used corporal punishment a great deal. They didn’t cane and, at least for boys, any clothing adjustment was confined to the legs of the then universal short trousers for the purpose of vigorous and prolonged smacking. But I don’t doubt that at Junior School if I’d been instructed to lower my trousers and bend over I’d have complied without protest, even if the trousers had been followed by the underpants.
However my secondary school was all male. The Headmaster’s secretary and the Matron were the only two females on site. It was a huge change from Junior School. You were chucked into a competitive, fairly ruthless and unsympathetic environment and you grew up fast or you went under. So there was certainly a change in attitude to authority. You still obeyed ultimately, but you learned to argue your case first if necessary.
As your Grammar School was mixed and had a number of female teachers, I wonder if the transition from Junior School wasn’t quite so drastic, so that when fairly early on in your career there you found yourself instructed to drop your trousers to be caned by a female teacher it was embarrassing but not something you found overly unusual.
I note that my greatly esteemed fellow contributor Keith is also curious about your first caning at the Grammar school, so a few more questions if I may please:

There has been discussion in other threads about how much difference one or two levels of conventional caning actually makes to the pain experienced during a caning. An almost impossible task, I realise, but would you care to comment on whether, other than the embarrassment involved, the six stroke caning by the Senior Mistress was discernibly worse than your two more conventional six stroke canings by lady teachers?

Out of context, but with regard to caning age differences there was a case at my school where a prefect aged just under 17 caned a boy six months younger. Very few boys were appointed prefect before arriving in the third year sixth form but the boy who wielded the cane got his tasseled cap at the end of his first year in the 6th form and the boy caned was an upper 5th former about to leave the school.</div>

In my school there was no way of protesting. If you argued with a teacher it added extra strokes or a visit to the head. So, if she had pulled my underpants down, I would have just accepted it. It was embarrassing enough anyway so if she had removed them I doubt it could have been much worse. It was only later that I discovered that trousers down was unique to the senior mistress.
I was indeed teased by both girls and boys about my visit but it mainly related to the fact that I had been caned. Only a couple of girls made comment about dropping trousers luckily. Some of my friends wanted all the details and it certainly frightened them.
I did not think the caning was as severe as when the headmaster caned me but I only ever got caned once by any teacher and so it is difficult to make a comparison between trousers on or off. Certainly one of the other lady teachers caned very hard but that might have been because I was older. The senior mistress might have caned me less severely because I was a first year and it was my first caning.
Regarding the age difference, it is true that sixth form pupils could be caned. And the last caning I got was from a lady teacher who was in her first year of teaching and I was nearly 17 and she was in her early 20’s. So there was not much of an age difference. Trainee teachers were not allowed to cane pupils so she was probably the youngest teacher in the school.

Thank you for the links. The first one reminded me of some of my lady teachers but I was lucky enough not to e bare bottomed. However the second link does not work because it asks me to log in????? So I am not sure what your point was sadly.
It was certainly embarrassing especially as the classroom teacher was in her mid 20’s. The senior mistress did not make any mention of the other teacher except to ask me to apologise to her after my caning. I was not made of sterner stuff as you put it because I made sure the senior mistress never caned me again!!
Regarding my last caning, it was embarrassing being caned by a young lady teacher who most boys fancied. She had a reputation for not using the cane and I suspected I was going to be sent to the head. When she offerred me the option I jumped at it. Even though I knew it would be painful the thought of her with a cane in her hand was exciting to a 16 year old boy. I could not wait for the end of the day and was wishing for it to go faster. When I walked in and saw her with the cane it was a mixture of excitement and trepidation. She did not seem any different than normal. I even thanked her after the caning. I was just glad I did not have to remove my trousers for her in that situation!
I did have trouble bending over and touching my toes and bent as far as I could. She told me to bend fully but even then I could not reach my toes.
I certainly did not find it a problem bending over while a lady caned me. I have not had to spend a lifetime or a large amount of cash to recreate my canings. Luckily I married the right lady!!!! In the very unlikely event that JCP was introduced I would certainly be happy to be caned by a lady rather than a man any day. But that is wishful thinking because it will never happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The access problem would appear to be that you were using Firefox. I fail to see why the Firefox team, or indeed the Opera team, would wish to ban access to a specific picture of an ‘adult schoolboy’ standing hands on head in the corner in his underpants, supervised by a ‘lady teacher’! And indeed the ‘403 Forbidden’ message and its proffered possible explanations indicate that it is the server hosting the site containing the picture which doesn’t wish you to go direct to an individual picture using Firefox or Opera but is quite happy for you to do so using Chrome or Safari. Strange, but I’ve seen weirder things. We had an instance of a link here where Internet Explorer users were directed to some unpleasant pornography but other browser users were directed to the intended innocuous picture.

I have to say that in the very unlikely event that I ever sought to revisit SCP I should expect a bit of corner time as part of the package for nostalgia’s sake. It was a frequent sequel to punishments at primary school where I had my only personal experiences in receipt of SCP. Corner time of sorts featured in the incident which made the most impression on me and left me with a determination to avoid SCP thereafter.
Back in my own classroom together with other classmates who’d also been unwilling participants in a mass smacking involving children from various parts of the school and conducted in front of a class of older children, I had to stand in front of my class, hands on head, overlaid impressions of Miss B’s hand on display, while our class teacher lectured the rest of the class about how naughty we’d been and how if they were naughty when they moved up to Miss B’s class they’d get smacked too. A most pertinent warning! Miss B was a great teacher but a dedicated, prolific and very hard smacker.
It has to be said though that the fact that Miss B’s handprints were on display as an awful warning to my classmates was my fault. Miss B liked plenty of exposed target area on which to perform and when after what seemed an eternity of hard smacks I was eventually released from under the vice like grip of her left arm I’d fled back to my own class without stopping to reverse her depredation on the right leg of my short trousers.</div>

I know this was not unusual in junior schools where the majority of teachers were and still are women, but in secondary schools I would guess it was quite rare.
I was only caned by a woman once. A female History teacher sent me to the headmasters office with a note asking that I be caned for repeatedly failing to attend her detention. When I got there the secretary told me that the headmaster was out for the day and I should see Miss Roberts, the deputy head who was in her own office. I gave her the note and she did not hesitate. She took a cane from her cupboard, I assumed it the one she used on the girls, and told me to bend over the arm of a chair. She gave me three strokes and although it stung it was my first erotic experience with cp. Years later picturing how she gave me those whacks is a great reliever of tension.

In my last term before moving schools My form teacher changed to a young newly qualified women who was very strict and made it clear to the class that she would use both the slipper and cane when necessary.She did just that later that week.
I managed to keep clear until midterm test results where announced and I obtained only five out of ten, I was called out to the front of the class told to bend over the front desk teacher then opened a drawer in her desk and took out the slipper,I got six hard strokes over my trousers, my bottom got very hot and I was near to tears I was told to sit down which was uncomfortable.When I got home my mother was very cross to learn I had been slippered and told me She was also going to slipper me but across my bare bottom, that really hurt.
My second run in with my teacher came just before end of term when she caught me on school premises during lunch break which was against school rules. She told me I was breaking school rules and that she was going to punish me in accordance with the rules with the cane. I was told to stand facing the wall with my hands on my head and wait for her while she fetched the cane from the school secretary. When she came back I was told to bend over and touch my toes she then tapped my bottom several times before I felt the first stroke across my bottom the pain was intense and I started to cry, at the same time I received the second stroke more pain then the third my bottom was on fire and I was crying and pleading for it to stop, all she said was last one this was the worst one of the four, I was told to get up and go back out to the playground and if I was caught in school again during lunch break I would get six across my bared bottom.
This all happened when I was 11 years old 1n 1955

When I was 11 I was caught by my female class teacher in the school building during lunch break which was against school rules .She escorted me to our classroom and informed me that the punishment for breaking school rules was the cane. She told me to face the blackboard and put my hands on my head whilst she fetched the cane from the school secretary. She returned after a few minutes sat down at her desk and wrote in the punishment book. Iwas then told to turn round move to the side of her desk and bend over extending my hands to the other side she then put the cane down inserted her hands into my waistband and pulled my trousers up as far as she could over my bottom they felt really tight,then she picked up the cane and started to tap my bottom then there was a crack followed by a searing pain in my bottom followed immediately by another crack more pain a third crack my bottom was now on fire Iwas crying . The forth and final stroke was the worst Iwas howling my bottom was on fire the pain was intense . The teacher told me it was over ,go back to the playground and keep out of school premises during breaks. I went via the toilets to review the damge!

For clarification and the avoidance of doubt could you possibly make clear whether your 4 stroke canings aged 11, administered by your newly qualified and very strict young lady teacher for being found in the building during lunch break, and for which you had to:
bend over and touch your toes and suffer the suspense of several aiming taps before the first intensely painful cut across your bottom (this thread on 19 Jan 2018)
bend over stretched out across the teacher’s desk, hands extended to the other side, and suffer the indignity of having your teacher pull up your trousers by the waistband so that they felt really tight prior to said aiming taps and the searingly painful first stroke (this thread 11 May 2018)
were actually the same event?
Or did you find after reflecting on the first instance of being caned by the young lady that it was an experience worth repeating, causing you to commit the same offence again? If indeed this was the case were you disappointed not to get the six strokes which had been threatened for repetition?
