It was at this point that dinner was finished and a dessert of cherry pie and ice cream was served.
Simon was given some time to think.
He concluded that his parents wanted him to stay with Aunty May so that she would not be alone.
“I suppose I could move for a few months to Aunty Mays if you insist on this,” Simon said.
Deep down inside Simon had always liked Aunty May, though he felt that he was being pressured to go and stay with her.
Once again father spoke up with one of his wise facts and informed Simon that staying with Aunty May would be the mature thing to do.
However, little did Simon know that they were going to send him there regardless of whether he wanted to go or not.
