I was deeply embarrassed to have been paddled outside and in front of people but that wasn’t the end. When my Dad got in from the field I was inside but still hadn’t had time to change clothes. Mom informed him of the infraction as I lowered my head and slightly turned away. Of course, he could see where the paddle had left its marks on my legs. I then had to turn around and lower my shorts and panties just below my bottom for him to see. He made a comment that it appeared I had learned my lesson and that was the end of that.
