My final year was different from the first two years. I had a teacher who actually respected me as a human being. This teacher’s name was Harry Ward. He was the form teacher of my class for that final year. He assisted me in every way he could. The terrifying toxic abuse that was happening in my class in the previous two years stopped. I have never been able to understand this. But I have very fond memories of Mr Ward. It is very fortunate that I have these memories to hold on to. I will never forget Mr Ward for his compassion and his very caring approach. I will never forget the kindness he expressed toward me and other pupils in my class.
