For 3 years in Secondary school in Central Scotland I had a young teacher who taught French. She was probably about 22 or 23 with very black hair and very substantial bumps in the front of her jerseys. Initially she never used the belt but after a few weeks we went into class and there it was lying folded on the desk. She told us that she had used in in the class before us and we had better behave.
Well of course it was too much of a challenge and I was first to get the belt for talking. I was ordered out to the front of the class and got one stroke on each hand. I really don’t remember how sore it was because I was too busy watching her…….love had started!
