I remember being goaded into looking into the office to see if anyone was in there. I saw two female PE teachers an a male in the office talking. I stepped down off the seat and sat down again.
All of a sudden one of the female teachers was standing at the door and asked who the boy was who looked through the window. I instantly thought she would recognise me because of my haircut but she didn’t. No one said anything at first, then she said if the boy didn’t own up we would all be belted. What an endearing threat. That rates right up there, along with Cancer and Heart attacks.
Still no one said anything. I decided to speak up at this point and tell the truth, so I did. I said a senior boy came into the foyer and stood up on the seat and looked through the window.
