I remember once I was due to go to a friend’s birthday party. And for some reason, I had got involved with our next door neighbours little girl. well a squabble started and I turned on my aunt’s garden hose and aimed the spray over the fence. little Kirsty was soaked. her mum came round to my aunt in a right huff! I did not lie, I couldn’t. Meg wanted me to say sorry. I stamped my foot and refused. The next thing I knew I was firmly in my aunt’s grip. and i felt like i’d been swept up by the Clyde. in no time I was across my aunt’s knee. She had sat in her favorite garden chair so i was staring at the daisies.
