If I had become a teacher (and I might have done) and you had handed me a cane, my only impression of what to do with it would have come from the “Beano” comic. Does it ever happen that a new teacher asks to take a couple of strokes across his own behind? This isn’t just a kinky fantasy (although it is that as well, of course!) If it was part of my job to cane boys, I think I might want to have experienced what I was giving out at least once, myself.
