Teachers could do what they liked within reason and got parental backing in 99% of cases. ( My mum got caned, her mother went up the school in Dublin circa 1940 and clouted the teacher for it. This was a rare event I am told.
I have had no trouble with information received by females about their school experiences.
As far as I can make out like any female they cannot close their mouths once they start talking.
Perhaps I have just met lots of large mouthed females who got CP.
I have yet to meet a female ( at school up to 1995) who is either interested in the subject or got it themselves.
