During my further education years, I had a fairly healthy, though certainly not obsessive, interest in the opposite sex, and had a few girlfriends during that time. But I certainly never entertained any thoughts of wanting to physically chastise girls; indeed, had such an idea ever been put to me I would probably have considered it to be highly depraved.
From what I have learned over the years from studying the accounts of CP enthusiasts in specialist magazines and other outlets, this interest generally develops from a much earlier age than it did in my case. Some people are able to pinpoint the exact moment at which they became “hooked” and can identify the event responsible for shaping their future sexual interests and taking them in this particular direction.
