Megan took advantage of the time away from her parents to call Sabrina. There was so much to tell, and not nearly enough time to tell it in. She found herself firing off narrative at a machine-gun pace, brushing Sabrina’s questions and interruptions aside with a curt hushing and running the full emotional gamut as she recalled everything that had happened to her over the past few days.
