Much to my annoyance, I’ve only ever been able to see the third and final series of That’ll Teach ‘Em. It doesn’t appear to have been aired in Australia, at least not on the terrestrial channels, nor to have been officially released on video or DVD and even though I have educated myself as to unofficial ways to acquire programs that interest me, only the third series became available through these methods. It is rather irritating. But I would point out that even though corporal punishment was undoubtedly common and all-pervasive in many schools of the time that the series seeks to emulate, it was by no means common and all-pervasive in every single school.
