Posters who continually try to equate the punishment of schoolgirls for breach of school rules with some form of Sexual gratification [Either for the recipient or the administrator] obviously have little or no knowledge of the reality of School CP during the Fifties and sixties when I attended school.
Firstly NOBODY [Boy or girl] had to be punished if they behaved! Behave and dont break school rules and you were unlikely to ever be caned or receive any form of CP. It is worth noting that MANY pupils [Boy / girl] DID go through there entire school career without receiving the cane or any form of CP.
I have mentioned before often in such discussions that the notion of a Headmaster thrashing the bared buttocks of a scantily clad female pupil who writhed and moaned suggestively is pure fantasy and bears NO relation to properly administered CP by a teacher. Correctly administered CP is intended to be [And IS] a discouraging experience which is very painful [And not in the remotest sense erotic!]. To those who would Doubt the motives of the teacher applying the punishment. I would suggest that if they felt a member of teaching staff was unsuitable to administer such punishment, as he / she may receive sexual gratification from performing such a duty, then in my opinion they are unsuitable to be in charge of children in any capacity!
There is absolutely no reason that a schoolgirl who breaks a school rule, for which the prescribed punishment is a canning, should not be equally treated and caned. Any Shame and embarrassment she may feel, she has brought upon herself. [Boys are also subject to such feelings].
Normally either the Headmistress or a senior female member of staff caned girls. However the schools Headmaster, for what were considered to be Serious breaches of discipline, formally caned many girls and boys. This was accepted by pupils as punishment and they then [hopefully a little wiser] got on with there schooling and education.

Any factual account of CP is indeed of “intrest [sic]” to us, so much so that were you actually to provide one we would take great delight in scrutinising its veracity.
