As I said we just ragged him , first it was hiding his books, then his chair , the wastepaper basket on top of the door ( guess someone had seen it in the Beano) , then putting his desk outside the window. this an intelligent A stream class. But he didnt retaliate . a few detentions, a few slipperings and normaslity might have been restored, but he just kept his head down.
So it escalated. When he tried to project a film strip ( revolutionary for classics in those days ) we sabotaged the projector so we intelligent creatures could make shadows on the wall, birds and rabbits ……….
