Doll Prism

There was once this young man named Mathew, who was fairly ordinary. One day his sister dared him to play a game on a well-known girl gaming site. Figuring there was no harm, when he got home from work one day, he booted up his computer and downloaded “Doll Prism” from the site. It took about 5 minutes to download, which he was surprised it went by so quickly because it was a fairly hefty file. “Game’s must be really boring for this site.”, he figured. When he opened the file he was greeted with a bright pink “Start Game” button, which he clicked. At that moment everything around him in real life started to change. It started with his room, it spiralled around him like some kind of whirlwind. Then after he was dizzy, the next thing to change was his vision, it was all tinted pink. Finally, his body began to change, until he looked like some kind of Barbie Doll, it was almost a mercy to him that his clothes were femininized in the same instant.

Confused, disoriented and unable to make sense of what just happened he realized he was no longer in his home. It seemed that whatever happened to him he was no longer where he was. Instead he was in some kind of girl’s nursery, with a bunch of pastel colors and bright pinks.

Struggling to make sense of the situation he decided to recount his last actions, “OK I clicked, Start Game, then like, everything went super swirly, and…I became…”, he looked down and realized what he feared, “A Girl.” he sighed. It was none other than the curse of the forbidden girl gamer, which transforms hapless men into girls then traps them inside the video games to play forever. Mathew had heard about such curses from social media, but never put any stock in them, yet here he was, a girl trapped in a girl game.

“There’s gotta be a way out”, was his first instinct. He struggled to no avail to find an exit. Then when he had just about given up he realized that there was a game to play, and thought “Well if I just play along with the game, maybe it’ll let me go”, just as he thought this a voice reverberated throughout the room, “Player 1, Please State your name.”, Realizing if he gave a silly boy name to this thing it’d think him a cheat he quickly figured out a pseudonym, “Alexis”, he thought, although it was actually his sister’s name. Regardless the computer chimed, “Player 1: Alexis, ready to play?”

Alexis said, “Yes”, and swallowed her pride, with every ounce of her morality shredded she was determined to see this game through.

The game she had to play was a dress-up game, where she had to mix and match pieces to form a complete wardrobe. Only instead of using a mouse and cursor she realized all too readily she would be using her own body. After many failed attempts she scored a point, “Score: Player 1, 1 Point, Player 2: 100 Points”, the computer rang, he wondered “Player 2?” but before he could ask the mechanical voice, he realized what he had feared all along, this game was his sister’s trick. She had dared him to play, and now she was stuck playing against her, or at least her score. Alexis didn’t know if her sister really thought this through or was actually trying to embarrass him more than she already was. Regardless, the fact remained he had to ask the computerish voice, “What do I need to do to beat this game?”, the computer replied, “You must Exceed Player 2’s Score, and complete the transformation.”

He figured he might as well cheese it and ask, “I’m already transformed, how can that be a requirement”.

The Computer was silent. He realized he would get no more answers from it until he beat the game.

After a few hours of what seemed like weeks playing, he realized the scores were rigged, he would never be able to score past 20, even if he got perfect marks, but by then it was too late, she was addicted to the cycle of trying to beat the game.

So Mathew Ceased to exist, and Alexis took her place; Alexis who was trapped by her sister, and never saw the real world ever again. She still plays Doll Prism to this day.
