In the year I was there I took three such spankings.The first as mentioned,the second for pushing another boy in the River Wye (it ran through The Rye,it still does)and the third for playing up in Sunday School which was held behind the Church across the road (also still there)On this occassion the Sunday School teacher took me out of the class,across the road and into the home and in less than five minutes I was hauled off upstairs,given the hardest spanking of my life then made to appologize to the Sunday School teacher who was waiting in the down stairs lobby and this,I swear to God, is absolutely true.
Yet not once to my knowledge did a boy ever get spanked for bedwetting.It was a regular thing with certain boys but it was always overlooked and for a woman as such who spanked for the slightest infringement it has never ceased to amaze me as to why not.
