I was hoping that maybe you could throw some light on this for me.
In order to give a hard caning,or so I’ve been led to believe,is’nt so much about physical strength as it is about technique.I.E The whipping back of the cane at the full extent of the backward swing, the speed and drive of the delivery, the deft flick of the wrist on impact and the follow through of the stroke. All this then to administer a hard and painful caning and not a mention of bulging bicepts, gorilla like arms or the shoulders of a quarter back!
So assuming this to be the case one,I suppose ,could confidently assume that a Headmistress who has this technique could cane much harder than a Headmaster who has’nt.
