On the first occasion I had failed to hand in a punishment essay. The second was when four us turned up ten minutes late for a lesson after lunch having been to the shops.It was the third time this had happened and we were the unfortunate ones to be sent to the deputy head for punishment.It was this latter experience which probably enhanced my interest in corporal punishment.I was the first to be caned and although in a distressed state, I can remember watching almost hypnotically as the others were caned and can still clearly visualise it today.Both incidents occured when I was in the third year.She had what seemed to me then a huge old leather armchair which you had to bend over.She then lifted back your skirt before administering the cane
