Now it is a historical fact that since the dawn of time, the most effective teacher was the female of the species. This is beyond dispute. The evidence is overwhelming.
Has there ever been one recorded case in modern times of a female teacher going berserk? I think not. But even using a small portion of the anecdotal evidence from messages on this forum, there are countless cases of the non-female members of the teaching profession going berserk at the drop of a hat.
The overwhelming majority of female teachers only used CP when absolutely necessary and in a very responsible and measured way. Can the same be said for their non-female counterparts? Even if 1.0% of the postings by non-females can be believed then it is quite obvious that most of the non-female teachers abused their position to administer completely unwarranted discipline to girls who were mostly very well-behaved. So let us not have any discussion about the female of the species when examining this rather useless topic and get back to basics.
