There were several teachers at Olga Street of varying ability but the two main ones were definitely Thommo Thompson and Miss Raine (The Old Girl) who took turns in taking the final year classes. This meant that depending upon which year you joined you got one or the other for your last two years. Both myself and my first wife (who was two years after me) got Thommo who seemed to also have the job as chief disciplinarian at the school. Errant pupils were sent to him by other teachers .
