He picked up “the slipper” from the desk and asked me to follow him to the back of the room where he asked me if I had ever had “the slipper” before. When I said that I hadn’t, he explained that what I needed to do was turn around and face in the opposite direction then bend right over and touch my toes. My legs felt like jelly as I bent over and I had to be told to bend lower before the teacher was happy with the position of my bottom.
