–in junior school, I think it is just acceptable if no other options were open. I DO NOT SEE WHY AT THE AGE OF 9 OR 10 (before periods start)that girls sghould not be expected to bare their bottom for punishment. After all at this age they are still but children. After 11 they are more young ladies. The closer we move towards 1980 the more this ios the case. With these young children, I do not see why it is any different for a girl to have punishment on the bare bottom than a boy.
