MR. NEILSON said that on November 29 a poster was issue which, he submitted, by referring to flogging, Dr. Keats, and the guardians, constituted a contempt of Court.

MR. JUSTICE BRAY.- The matter was being continually debated in the neighbourhood and I do not think that the fact that attention is drawn to it constitutes a contempt.

MR. NEILSON said that the cumulative effect of the statements made was calculated to prejudice the fair trial of the action.

MR. JUSTICE BRAY said that Mr. Justice Lush though that a rule ought to be granted. Frankly, he himself did not, but in the circumstances there would be a rule.
