Both girls woke up dry. Neither expected to be wet: Erin had already changed out of her wet diaper a few hours earlier, and Hailey hadn’t wet the bed in as long as she could remember.
Hailey wished she could actually use the diaper that she’d been allowed to wear. She was certainly ready to pee. But it was much too risky to wet it so soon. When would she get a chance to change, and would it be private? She didn’t want Erin to see her in a wet diaper, and she certainly didn’t want her mother to see. So she’d just have to be patient, and wait until she knew how to avoid being caught. And she could wait. She hadn’t wet a diaper for the better part of a decade; how bad would it be to wait a few more weeks?
