As for the Herald group these poor fools demanding the reintroduction of something that hasn’t even been abolished! but I suppose both he and the Herald group could be part of the conspiracy too….
I just want to address this briefly. It has been commonplace in Australia since the 1980s for people to refer to “reintroducing corporal punishment to schools” even where it still existed in private schools as a shorthand way of referring to a desire to reintroduce it into state schools. From what I have seen the same thing happened in the UK.
MORE than 90 Tory MPs defied the government line last night to vote in favour of the restoration of corporal punishment…. to restore corporal punishment with parental consent… Tory MPs want to bring back the cane…. the Government did not support the reintroduction of corporal punishment in schools…
