Since it moved online a few years ago, it has started to focus more and more on looking at the law across the rest of Australia as well, I think, mostly because no other state has such a comprehensive general guide with the history of Victorias Law Handbook and they want to fill that niche but for the moment it remains primarily a Victorian reference, and only addresses other states in passing.

The current entry in the Law Handbook is largely based on previous entries going back a number of years, which also tended to include some more information in the paragraphs above that is now omitted for some reason. This had the effect of more separation between the statement about Victoria, the discussion of the exceptional cases, and the references to other states.
