When meeting someone there may be times that don’t allow the opportunity to get to know one another and set these precautions in place, i.e. meeting in a bar or walking down the street or whatever.
Take the time to cover yourself.
Call your network and let them know where you’re at, who you’re with, and where you’re going.
Don’t surrender to the heat of the moment and throw caution to the wind.
As your network is made up of your friends, they’re not going to mind if you wake them up as the bars are shutting down for the night.
Never get into a car with a stranger.
Never get into someone’s car the first time you meet.
