From the OZ trial to the Birmingham six and the Guildford four, we saw over a quarter of a century the flagrant, monstrous violation of individual personal integrity and a deliberate conspiracy, no, not a conspiracy, it was stronger and more openly orchestrated than that, I guess ‘purposive action’ on behalf of the establishment to construct scapegoat figures. Meanwhile, authority figures themselves believe they are immune from the laws that govern mere mortals – such as honest expense claims, and a certain moral probity. Of course, we can only hope Rebecca Brooks and the News International show come up against a Goddard when they get to trial – but somehow I doubt it . No doubt it will be day release with shepherds pie and Dom Perignon, like the convicted liar- the “Lord” in his Penthouse. ( But still brainwashed plebs rush braying to fill his coffers with more gold, to ‘read all about it ‘ ) .
