I am obviously speaking only for myself, but I’ll be very surprised if any of the regulars here disagree with me that if the Headmaster of a state school slippered pupils in his official capacity after the abolition of CP in state schools it was wrong and should have been immediately stopped.

Laws are laws. They are what enable us ti live together as a functioning society. We might not like them or agree with them, but we do not have the right to break them. We can campaign to have them changed, but while they are in force if we break them we must be prepared to take the consequences.
