The Headmaster nodded to my response.
“Now even though she will soon be your full responsibility in just a small number of weeks, I would encourage Miss Amber here to accompany the two of you, at least for today. You never know what can happen.” He told both Amber and I.
I agreed without hesitation and he quickly handed Amber a piece of paper that he had scribbled something out on. She smiled back to him as she finished reading it and we were soon out of the room. I shook the Headmaster’s hand once again just before closing the door.
