The other incident was when a group of friends stitched me up. We’d just started a new year and had a relatively new, young female teacher for Social and Moral Education, (the successor to Religious Instruction / Education).
In week one, new exercise books were issued, instantly adorned with the logos of our favorite rock bands/football teams.
In week 2, all bawled out by the teacher and told to cover our books. Friends and I hatched a plan to cover our books with photos of same bands/teams – we had to push the boundaries to see how far we could get with her.
