Mum knocked on the door and came in and said I looked absolutely fantastic. I did a little turn for her and she cooed at the sight of her lovely daughter. “ You look so great,” she said. “He will fall in love with you.”
“Mum, I don’t want him to fall in love with me. This is a one-off,” I said.

As I sat in my bedroom the minutes seemed to tick by so slowly. In a way I just wanted to get it over. I wanted him to come and take me out and then bring me back safely so I could forget it all and get on with my life of being me. Get back to real life, getting ready to go back to college as a boy in the day and a girl at night.
