Shirley was good at her job and was unfortunately poorly paid by the government entity for which she worked. Krystyn did not have any such restrictions on the pay she could offer her part-time employees. She only needed her “special” projects done quickly and so perfectly that no one would ever know that the files had been diddled. Shirley was paid well and in cash the minute the baby changed hands into the adoptive mother’s care. Shirley made sure the private adoption went smoothly and that there were no problems with the records.
