As a member of the Coven, she had no doubt at all that Shirley would do her utmost to see that the job was done right and would keep mum about the changes she had made. After all, if the Coven caught her going to the police to tell them what she had done, she would face criminal charges for manipulating county records. She might get off easy from the court, but the penalties of the Coven could be quite severe. Krystyn could easily imagine finding oneself leading the interesting life as a breeding bitch in a poorly-run poodle farm for the rest of one’s days.
