Apparently, you have found Gordon’s methods work for your children. That’s wonderful. But what would you have done if they hadn’t worked? I’m sure you’d have looked for something else that worked – and you’d have kept looking until you found whatever it was that worked for your child. With your beliefs corporal punishment would presumably not have been an option you would have looked at until and unless you became desperate – and I would hope that you might find something else before you got to that stage, and that’s fine.
