The result of this ‘dumb indolence’ ( that’s what a number of my teachers would have called such a response) was to scrap the rule so the AP didn’t have to be concerned in the future….and as for his ‘offense’ ? No action. Well, dog on it isn’t that what you’d expect? Oh, and the complainants, who were in the right were both made to leave the school under the pressure of bullying because of the complaint. .
I know not all teachers are like that, but a good proportion dislike being accountable for anything that happens during school hours. That’s why at my elementary school there was notice from the education committee that parents could not enter the school ‘without a pre-arranged appointment. ‘ Nothing more uncomfortable than having your kingdom invaded by an independent witness tramping around at will is there?
