Was in a similar situation years ago.

The difference was,

my mom fell ill and I couldn’t leave.

I spent years looking after her and it ruined half my life.

Sometimes you are not given the choice…….

By the time I got some of my freedom back,

I was 40 and half my life had passed me by..
