If you honestly can’t explain to your own mother that you feel it’s time you got your own place and started supporting yourself then you need to sort yourself out.

Your mother has probably worked hard for a number of years and deserves to enjoy her retirement.

Has it occurred to you that she might not want you around all day either?

Sorry if you feel people aren’t being supportive but the situation seems quite clear.

If you don’t want to live with your mother then get your own place.
