I’ve always used short wigs, I started at 52 and they worked for me then and still do. I think a lot of girls see long hair as a symbol of femininity, but in practice if a style doesn’t suit you then it just doesn’t work and that’s it, irrespective of your age. A short wig adds bulk at the top of your head and thus de-emphasizes your jaw, which for most of us is generally a good thing.
