In truth hearing Mr Cloak call out my name with the names of two other boys was not completely unexpected. The previous afternoon returning home from school by bus, two boys from the local secondary modern school had ragged me. They teased me about my school uniform (they did not have to wear one) and then pinched my school cap throwing it to each other with me as piggy in the middle. Eventually, I saw red and jumped onto nearer to my taunters and started to slap and punch him.
