My first incident of primary school CP was from the head of the infant who hauled me over her knee and took her displeasure by smacking my backside. I remember the details vividly to this day, It must have hurt but I can’t recall how much, this was the first time I’d ever received this type of punishment either at home or school, I was only 6 at the time. Combined with the dressing down and unjustness it reduced me to tears and a realization that adults could lie and be feared.
