Monday, all the girls I had been with Saturday were called to the head office. We were told a complaint had been made about congregating outside some houses, mainly being noisy and larking around, I don’t know how the Head knew which girls we were or who complained, however, nothing was mentioned about the window, we all got a severe telling of and dismissed with a warning. Two days later the head’s office called me in and asked rather sternly if I was one of the groups she had spoken with previously. When she asked if I knew a window had been broken, I had no reason to deny concluding the matter resolved so replied yes.
