Donna doesn’t reply for a moment and the silence returns to the room.
“No.” She says eventually. “But, if this is part of who you are now. I think you should.”
Steve doesn’t reply.
“But I will tell you one thing” Donna continues after a moment. “If she does find out and learns that I knew, she probably won’t speak to me again. If that happens, I will kill you.”
Steve’s head drops, then without saying a word, he stands back up and returns to the bathroom.
