She looked down at where Lea was pointing vigorously on her menu and added:

“Oh and can she have the kid’s chicken fingers meal?”

“No problem; your food will be out in a little bit.” The waitress replied cheerfully.

Once she had left Amber playfully slapped me in the arm, while adding:

“A bacon cheeseburger; do you have any idea how bad those are for you?”

“What? I can’t let loose once in a while?” I joked.

“I would’ve suggested a salad, but if you don’t care about clogging up your arteries, that’s fine by me.” She said.

“That’s right, I don’t!” I teased.

We began to have a good laugh and after about fifteen more minutes of waiting, the food had arrived.
