I attended a couple of school reunions last year, it had been 45 years since we all last met. One of our teachers turned up as well along with his wife.He was a PE teacher who is now in his late 80s. He used to line us all up in the gym and whack us with his trade mark sawn off cricket bat.At the reunion we awarded him with a mini version sawn off cricket bat and reminded him of that cold morning bend over and touch your toes warm ups that he used to give us . He gave a little smile and said “Cant remember doing that.”That man has still got the respect from all of us who attended that reunion.
