Some adults have short fuses and fragile egos, they can not bear to be questioned, for anyone to have an opinion not of their own or have their authority challenged in any way. A teacher with such a personality is going to have a very low tolerance to any pupil with a natural high spirit and possible low ability to read warning signs, that pupil is going to be facing punishment more so than the pupil with the same nature but fortunate enough to be taught by a teacher with a rather more roboust character. Some pupils delighted in winding up a teacher who`s personality really can not take it, for them it was fine sport I confess to doing it myself.
