My bottom was facing the class so everyone would observe the effects of the punishment.After a few seconds, I felt a couple of gentle taps on the middle of my bottom followed shortly by a terrific smack which caused me to take a couple of steps forward. The smack coincided with an explosive noise like a gun going off which seemed to reverberate around the gym. I felt a huge pain where the slipper had landed but knew full well not to stand up. In the bent over position, I took two steps back to revert to my original position. After another brief interval, I felt two more taps and steeled myself for the second stroke. It was not long in coming and landed precisely where its predecessor had found its mark.
