At least I was not expected to take part in the rest of the lesson and was instructed to go and get changed and wait in the changing room for the lesson to end.I duly made my way out of the gym feeling very sorry for myself all the time caressing my throbbing backside.On reaching the changing room I immediately went to the toilet to inspect the damage. My whole bottom carried a raised welt the shape of the sole of the plimsoll which by now was more blue than red. Although I didn’t cry my eyes were watering and I felt decidedly sorry for myself. At the end of the lesson, the rest of the class was dismissed and came back into the changing room.
