Mrs Feilds unbuckled her son from the infant carrier on the rear seat, picked up his diaper bag from the floor behind the passenger seat, and handed it to Theodore, then went to the front door of her house with Theodore trailing behind.

They went inside and Mrs Feilds placed her son into his playpen while she went to prepare lunch.

“Would you watch Baby John John for me while I get lunch for us, Theodore?”, she asked with a smile.

Theodore agreed and sat on the sofa ruminating over what would happen to him now that his parents were gone.

The house would be awfully lonely with just him staying there.

Maybe he should go live with his aunt.

But then he’d have to leave all of his friends.

He wasn’t even sure where she lived or how to get in touch with her.
