She was right really, I guess a 6-hour car journey and if I can manage to keep dry then I can wear pull ups. I regret thinking about what would happen if I wet myself. The nappies looked more humiliating than the pull ups I was in.
I was soon dressed in some trousers, socks and a t-shirt and was carried and placed into the car.
